FSEA Board has passed bylaws change to be presented to its members for a vote in regards to:
30-hour CE requirement
The dual membership requirement.
The NAEA Board has certified the effective date of the NAEA bylaw amendments that were approved by the members in December.
- The elimination of the 30-hour CE requirement is effective immediately. Members are no longer required to obtain 30 hours of CE credit to maintain their membership.
- The elimination of the dual membership requirement with state affiliates will take effect September 1, 2024. When renewing or joining NAEA through Aug 31, 2024, you will be receiving a full year of NAEA national and state affiliate membership (for states where an affiliate is present). There will be no prorated dues or refunds. Please contact the NAEA membership team with any questions- membership@naea.org.
- NAEA membership dues will increase effective July. 1, 2024 by $10. Regular and associate membership dues will increase from $275 to $285 and emeritus membership dues from $68 to $71. Academic associate dues will remain the same.
